Database design is the key factor for the success of an IT project. Its structure is reflecting in the complete software architecture. As writing
code we talk about 'clean code', in database design we talk about 'clean design'.
Different techniques like HTML5 documentation, virtual foreign keys, visual relational data explorer, logical design and others can help to improve
the schema design and the awareness about the database structure inside the company.
In the development cycle, the database schema is handled by architects, developers, testers and then into production by administrators. The schema
has to be deployed on different databases, migration scripts has to be generated.
We will learn together how we can implement this inside our organization.
